Absolutely shocking. I was brought up as a JW and vividly remember being told “you will be looking around for a bit of that during the Tribulation” when I didn’t want to eat something that had been given to me. Such cruel brainwashing

When I was in elementary school, I used to have full blown anxiety attacks when I would do something “wrong” thinking that Armageddon was coming that night and Jehovah was going to kill me. I have few good memories pertaining to being a witness.
