If you check out my other articles you’ll also see that a woman can still be disfellowshipped (excommunicated) for being raped, that they’ve told women to treat rapists “respectfully” and “understandingly,” and are told to use “discernment” if a woman claims to have been raped, giving them full authority to call her a liar and disfellowship her based on their own discernment. Pretty shameful all around.
