Last night I was a guest on a podcast for former Jehovah’s Witnesses, the B.A.D. JW Round Table Discussions. My time was limited, but we covered some information from the Australian Royal Commission Inquiry, the attorney handbook on this site, and some interesting developments in activism. I was absolutely beyond flattered at the kind words they mentioned about this site.
One thing I want to add, at about the 20:50 mark, they informed me of an interesting incident of which I was not aware. It was noted that attorneys in the Fessler case against the Watchtower had been denied paperwork from the Witnesses, so those attorneys scoured exJW blogs, looking for them. Apparently the attorneys mentioned my site in particular, as one where they found those documents. I’m grateful that this site helped in some small way to get justice for any victim of the Watchtower, and want to be sure I give a “shout out” to my sources for many documents and stories. This includes the Facebook user Christian Freedom (whom I believe is no longer on social media), and Mike & Kim Brooks, who have very kindly provided me with many leaked letters and other such info.
Obviously I need to upgrade my equipment soon enough, but all in good time. I also needed to head right to bed after I stepped away! My days start early, but I was very happy to be a part of this episode for this short time, and look forward to more in the future. I haven’t listened to the rest of the podcast quite yet, but I’m sure you’ll enjoy, and please give them some support with a “like,” and subscribe to their channel if you can. I can’t embed the video here, but you can follow this link to watch it on YouTube.
